ambitions
The Tulane City Center is devoted to producing tangible results that are well integrated into their community context and that answer real needs defined by the involved constituents. Individual projects may be modest in scope but regardless of scale, all TCC projects support three common themes:
Individual projects exhibit thoughtful design and careful execution.
We seek meaningful engagement and long-term relationships with our community partners and those supporting our efforts.
While intended to be compelling artifacts in themselves, each of our projects can be understood as an example of a better, more sustainable urban future through technical demonstration, design investigation, and innovative building methodologies.
Through this approach we hope to give Tulane architecture students an opportunity to work within complex ‘real world’ contexts in a way that informs their long-term design practice goals and sensibilities.
