Urban Agriculture Initiatives

The TCC has developed a strong partnership with the New Orleans Food and Farm Network (NOFFN), a local food justice advocacy organization, and is supporting a growing local food movement that seeks to confront food access, a critical social justice issue. The projects we have completed in support of the urban agriculture community range in scale from ambitious and programmatically complex farm and market facilities, farms consisting of dispersed vacant lots in concentrated neighborhoods through to individual urban lot sites. All of these projects are part of the complex solution to a complex problem and in all cases we bring design and planning to maximize the potential for program success.
