Applied Research

The majority of work at the TCC focuses in on programmatically and physically defined projects. It is important however, to zoom out of the site-focused framework and look more expansively at issues that continue to impact our work. The work done that we have categorized as Applied Research shares this quality of primarily investigating an issue rather than seeking solutions to recurring issues only in the context of a specific site development. The results of all our applied research projects enhance the institutional memory of the TCC and therefore add to the tools we bring to each community partnership, but we are also committed to making sure this knowledge is accessible as possible for anyone or organization who is interested.
