TCC Partners with Harriet Tubman School

The TCC has recently launched an ongoing partnership with Crescent City Schools, a new charter school organization that has re-opened Harriet Tubman K-8 school in Algiers. Our work will support both physical improvements and program/curriculum development in a way that is defined by the school leadership each year.

This important work was envisioned and supported by Erin and Jean Paul Hymel. Their $50 000 pledge paid over five years will have a significant impact on both our institutions.

In its first year, our partnership will focus on design proposals for the open interior courtyard space that is currently lacking specific amenities.
