Public Interest Design and Education

The Tulane City Center houses the Tulane School of Architecture's applied urban research and outreach programs. We work with community groups throughout New Orleans to address difficult problems with good design.

We work with a variety of non-profit organizations and community groups to provide design services to communities who are consistently underserved by our field. Come see more about what we do {here} and why it matters {here}.

Our full time staff consists of Architects, Designers, Community Organizers, and Managers; see them {here}. Our work develops in collaboration with faculty designers, student interns, and outside consultants; see them {here}.

Every year we put out a request for project proposals to all local non-profit organizations and community groups. To see how to apply go {here}

If you are looking to support our work or to find other ways to get involved go {here}.
